AVIATICON Finkosorb Dry

AVIATICON Finkosorb Dry is a Type III R oil binder and absorbent with particularly high absorbency and crush resistance.

AVIATICON Finkosorb Dry meets the requirements for oil binder type III R (R = suitable for traffic areas), revised version, as of February 28, 1990, announcement by the BMI on June 25, 1990. The suitability as an oil binder type III R was verified by the state Material testing office North Rhine-Westphalia, Dortmund, and the Hygiene Institute of the Ruhr area, Gelsenkirchen.

AVIATICON Finkosorb Dry is a non-combustible granulate mixture based on a natural product (clay). It is not hygroscopic and, if stored properly, can be stored and used for five years from the year of delivery.

The granular nature allows for quick distribution and easy pick-up after soiling has set. In contrast to paper, cleaning rags, peat and sawdust, this agent is not combustible even after absorbing oil.

AVIATICON Finkosorb Dry is particularly applicable in traffic accidents and oil spills in companies, on streets and in residential areas. SRT value change 1%, up to 20% are allowed. As the yield with normal ground cover shows, the use of this product also offers economic advantages.

AVIATICON Finkosorb Dry is chemically inert to all liquids with the exception of hydrofluoric acid (HF aq). This means that AVIATICON Finkosorb Dry does not react with the absorbed liquid and is therefore suitable as a universal binder for almost all types of liquids: oils, acids, bases, aqueous and organic solutions.

Disposal is carried out by locally approved disposal companies in accordance with the Waste Disposal Act as special waste or, after consultation with the lower water authorities, by depositing it in landfills.
